To mark the International Day of Women Entrepreneurs, the BOOST-IN project is hosting an inspiring webinar on 19 November 2025 at 13:00 CET, dedicated to showcasing the role of women driving innovation and entrepreneurship in the water and circular economy sectors, featuring Dr. Katalin Oborni, the coordinator of the RE-FEM project.

Organised by BIOAZUL, as part of the BOOST-IN Gender Committee, this event will explore how gender-inclusive strategies can strengthen innovation ecosystems and accelerate the adoption of circular solutions – especially in traditionally male-dominated fields like water reuse, nutrient recovery, and environmental technologies.

🎤 Key Highlights:

🔹Dr. Katalin Oborni (Coordinator, @RE-FEM – HÉTFA Research Institute) will share insights on supporting migrant and disadvantaged women entrepreneurs through mentoring, training, and systemic support.
🔹BIOAZUL (Coordinator of the BONEX project – PRIMA programme) will present lessons learned from implementing a gender-sensitive approach across the Mediterranean, under the motto “Women are the Nexus.”
🔹Female innovators from BOOST-IN’s database will pitch their circular water solutions, highlighting women-led entrepreneurship in action.
