As part of the 2024 Erasmus+ Days, the RE-FEM consortium successfully organised the webinar  ‘Empowering Women Entrepreneurs: Insights and Lessons Learned from EU-funded Projects’ on the 17th of October.

The webinar focused on projects supporting women entrepreneurs. Dr. Katalin Oborni, coordinator of the RE-FEM project from HÉTFA Research Institute (Budapest, Hungary) introduced the RE-FEM Erasmus+ project. Maria Zlateva, Senior Project Coordinator from the Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovations (Varna, Bulgaria) presented the We.Circular Project, which aims to increase digital and business skills of women entrepreneurs for circular transition.  Diána Kiss, Project Manager from Design Terminal (Budapest, ) introduced the Womenture Horizon project. The speakers shared their experiences, challenges, and insights on implementing projects to support women entrepreneurs. Key topics included the importance of integrated support, mentoring, networking, and addressing specific needs of women entrepreneurs such as work-life balance and soft skills development. The discussion also touched on engaging policymakers and the future trends in supporting women entrepreneurship, including the role of AI and digitalization.
